New ISD 181 5th - 8th Grade School Basketball Programs

The Brainerd School Board approved bringing back mid-school basketball. This is great news for all boys and girls in 5th-8th grade. All kids now have access to Warrior Way funds to help with any financial hardships for playing basketball.

5th - 6th Grade Program (ISD 181 Program)

The 5th and 6th grade girls and boys program, through ISD 181, will run after school Monday – Friday. This will be an intramural program that will focus on skill development, team concepts and enjoying the overall basketball experience. Sign-up at Forestview.

After this program is over players can register for the Brainerd Traveling Basketball Program.

7th - 8th Grade Program (ISD 181 Program)

This will be a school competitive program. They will play other schools, participate in several tournaments, and practice everyday after school. The schedule will consist of 12-14 games home and away, plus 3 tournaments. They will have A and B teams, as decided by the lead coach. Sign-up at Forestview.
